Many respected sources, industry luminaries and previous presenters to C-SPIN have delivered excellent materials to guide us in the techniques of SPI. This presentation focuses on the sometimes neglected human aspects of the 'change process'. Practioners do not always agree, sign-up to and execute according to SPI plans. Results are dependent on those involved and touched by SPI programs. Tips are offered on evaluating organizational and engineering readiness, preparation and potential for success with SPI efforts.
