Joe Puffer - Director, Software And Systems Engineering Consulting -

Back to C-SPIN Homepage
The Cost savings from many software process improvement initiatives are often intuitive, and can't be related to "hard" data. Using a process cost model developed with activity based costing techniques allows the effects of process changes to be predicted, observed, and documented. Joe Puffer will discuss an application of this technique and walk through an example where process cost drivers and associated metrics were used to quantify gains from process improvements.
