The Software Process Impact Program has been involved in leading the software engineering community in addressing the issues and rewards of improving process maturity. Bill Peterson will speak on some of the past accomplishments of the program, its vision for the future of software engineering and some of the plans for the future products and services of the program. Additionally, information will be provided on the results of studies that the program has conducted on regarding benefits of software process improvement.
