Tellabs Operations, Inc. has committed to improve their Time-to-Market (TTM) while maintaining or improving their quality levels. This initiative is planned to be accomplished through many focus areas, which in turn will result in an effective Tellabs Portfolio Management system. This presentation will present the background necessary for you to see why Tellabs is going toward a portfolio management system along with their plans for getting there as well as some of the tools being used to help achieve this very important and necessary initiative.
Kenneth Goncharoff, Tellabs Operations, Inc.Kenneth Goncharoff is a Senior Program Manager for the Broadband Media Group within Tellabs Operations, Inc. Tellabs designs, manufactures, markets and services data, voice and video transport, switching/routing and network access systems.. His roles within Tellabs include, providing consultation throughout the corporation in the areas of Time-To-Market (TTM), resource management, portfolio management, and project management. Mr. Goncharoff also served as a Resident Affiliate at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) for two years. While there he authored a technical paper on process modeling and definition. He was also co-founder of the C-SPIN, and served as its Steering Committee Leader. Additionally, he was Co-Chair of the 1998 Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) Conference, for which C-SPIN is affiliated. He holds a MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BS from Central Michigan University.
