Program: Optimizing Distributed Software
Development |
Abstract
In today's globally-connected
world, the ability to effectively leverage distributed teams to deliver great
software is a critical capability for most organizations. However, more
than 10 years on from the dawn of large-scale distributed outsourcing, results
of globally distributed development remain highly variable. Smart
organizations have learned through hard experience how to set up, manage and
utilize high-performing global delivery teams. Others continue to
struggle to realize the expected benefits from their effort and investment.
Options in today's marketplace
abound. There are literally dozens of choices of geography, provider, and
delivery models. This flexibility demands more sophisticated
decision-making when it comes to setting up your distributed development
sourcing strategy and delivery model.
Join us for a discussion that will help
you get the most out of your investment in globally distributed software
development. You'll learn about factors to consider when choosing what
work to do where and tactics to employ to maximize your success.
